About Necotyl®

Necotyl® is a blend of the natural oils from garlic, oregano, anise and cinnamon as main ingredients, supplemented with a.o. yucca extract. Garlic and cinnamon stimulate feed intake and have strong antiseptic effects, whereas thymol and carvacrol are known antioxidants with a wide variety of effects on intestinal health, and on enterocyte differentiation. Together with garlic they are effective against intestinal parasitism. The combination of garlic and oregano oil also stimulates local humoral and innate immunity, which are further supported by yucca saponins. Anise oil is used for its anti-inflammatory effects. Together, these ingredients improve the resilience against intestinal infections like necrotic enteritis in broilers.

Necotyl® is available in powder (to add to the feed) and liquid (to add to the drinking water). Necotyl® is compared to ElanPlus® much higher in active components, this is specially selected to work maximum on gut health and prevention of inflammations.

The Necotyl® in feed is used in the ‘critical phase’ of gut health issues which means mostly between 10 – 30 days in broilers and between 3 – 9 weeks in layers/turkeys. Together we will check with you when is the best time to use to the Necotyl and which is suitable to the current used phase feeding program.
